  I see that now. Actually I knew it before I started the string.
  I want to be the world authority on jw deception.But Ray baby is.
  Why?

  Can we doubt that St Pauls fame as a persecutor of the church transferred into fame and authority once he joined the church?
  Other than that, overall, i must conceed the arguement, seeing that all of you love raymonds books and they have been so beneficial to you.

  Actually, Ive been unable to get on the board for ages,(the past hour and a half), after reading Thomas Pooles comment my accessline collapsed!
  His God silenced my lying lips.!
  However,I see no reason to reverence his God. He has never answered ANY of my prayers no matter how much I wept and supplicated.

  THe apostle Paul was a fruitcake.
  In my opinion.
  A rabid nut.
  First he was a rabid Christian hater, then he became a rabid hysterical Christian.

  As for Ray Franz, yeah, he wrote about his experiences without bitterness, that was very noble of him. I thought.
  It was a little sad to see him, page after page, of CofC, playing the borgs game, writing letters to HQ, trying to justify himself and his actions to them.

  Help finding a movie

  rarely i watch movies but last saturday while at the supermarket watched two minutes of a movie.. related to ai, virtual reality etc.

  a guy was seated on sophisticated chair and received somekind of electric shock, or "soft program" uploaded on his head.. after that everything he experienced was not real.

  there was more, but do any of you know what movie is that?.

  If you do, I will concede that in YOUR opinion Ray is sweetheart.
  If you do not know Ray personally, then you have walked into a trap saying hes a nice guy.You dont know what he is.

  Do you actually suggest that Ray got into the governing body off his own bat without ANY consideration that he was related to freddy?
  You might as well suggest that Michael Douglas got into movies purely off his own initiative and talent.
  Angelina Jolies connection to Jon Voight counted for nothing and Cher got into movies because shes a talented actress.
  They were connected to the stream, thats how they got into it.
  I suggest the same thing with Ray.
  We just had an election here in Oz. Theopposition leader was Kym Beazley. He didnt get into political circles because his daddy was a political Bigwig in WA did he?

  As for Rays books, I especially like the 3rd chapter of IS of CF
  about how Christianity got turned into a totalitarian pyramid of control in the second century.
  The WT society followed exactly the same pattern.
  But to know that you would have to do your own research thru all the WT ever published, from 1879 forward.
  Dont know whether you have read it but Russells "Scripture studies"
  volume 3 contains very interesting info from page 180 forward on the subject of controlling organizations, which Russell was condemning , by the way, the interesting thing is that, Russells org, after he was dead, initiated ALL the practises he condemned.
  I often wonder... if thereis a hell...is Russell burning?
